CONNECTING PHARMACEUTICAL KNOWLEDGE

Quality COP

The ISPE NL Quality Community of Practice (CoP) was founded in the Netherlands in 2025, fulfilling the need for a platform for the pharmaceutical professionals passionate about promoting and achieving quality excellence.

The mission of the ISPE NL Quality CoP is to ensure quality across the entire pharmaceutical product lifecycle by facilitating the work of Quality professionals, primarily in the Netherlands, but not excluding other countries, to meet current and future industry demands. We aim to enhance quality culture, people, process and product quality, optimizing resources, and supporting sustainable cost reductions.

Our vision is to facilitate building a strong, future-ready Quality community in the Netherlands by developing skilled, knowledgeable, and independent Quality professionals, and building bridges between the SME (subject matter experts) departments and the quality departments on technical matter. We envision to increase quality awareness across all levels of pharmaceutical operations by leveraging ISPE materials, training and methodology, and the ISPE network, to foster technically proficient experts with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and business management and sustainability knowledge.

The first elected in 2025 Executive Board of the ISPE NL Quality CoP consists of the following members:

  • Chair: Natalia Vtyurina
  • Co-Chair: Manouk Tchkrtchian
  • Secretary: Kathinka van Hooren
  • Treasurer: Violeta Mihailova

The broader CoP board includes the following Board Members supporting the launch and ongoing activities: Astrid Bulsink, Hans (J.P.) De Koning, Susan Veissi, Michiel Storimans, Gurpal Singh, Olena Gorodetska, Lineke Pelleboer, with support from Tim Postlethwaite (ISPE).

There is a strong collaboration between ISPE NL Quality and DARQA, which is focused on strengthening the quality community through the exchange of knowledge, network, expertise, and professional development opportunities. This partnership is built on mutual support and shared commitment to advancing quality in the life sciences sector. Each organization remains fully independent, with separate membership structures, governance, and activities. ISPE membership is not shared with DARQA, and there is no commercial integration between the organizations. The collaboration is purely knowledge-driven, aimed at fostering learning, networking, and alignment across the broader quality ecosystem while respecting the autonomy and identity of each association.
