Governmental AffairsBy Anneke Sanders, Sr Manager Policy & Governmental Affairs at BMS | Description: It’s a common perception that drugs find their ways to patients that need them automatically. Unfortunately, the truth is rather different. To ensure that commercial interests do not collide with patient interests like safety and efficacy, the road from bench to bedside is high regulated. But in a highly regulated system, scientific advancements often go at bigger speed, limiting the implementations in healthcare. How do you optimize that? By making sure that policymakers talk to innovative pharma companies, and vice versa. |

Public Affairs in Healthcare: Finding solutions through collaborationBy David Schuster, Manager Public Affairs at MSD Netherlands | Description: With over a decade of experience in the public sector and currently focusing on public affairs at MSD, David will share insights from his work with broad societal coalitions to address the challenges facing healthcare today. The Dutch healthcare sector consistently ranks among the best in the world. However, to continue providing exceptional care for future patients, we must embrace significant changes within the system. By making efficient and effective choices, fostering collaboration, and building broad coalitions of stakeholders, we can collectively drive meaningful progress. "Only by working together can we create a healthy future for all." |

Market AccessBy Ana Filipa Alexandre, Market Access / HEOR Expert Consultant at Key2Access | Description: Market Access ensures patients benefit from innovative therapies and that healthcare systems are equipped to support them. It’s where science meets strategy, and where your impact can be felt. If you're passionate about improving patient outcomes, curious about health systems, or looking to use your scientific background in a strategic way—this talk is for you. |
