Data becomes the Future Operating System of PharmaIn the Pharma 4.0 world, data is becoming the true backbone of how companies work and grow. Medicinal products, their supply chains, production processes and distribution show increasing complexity – with ATMPs at the helm of this development. Having command over data will be key in future pharma operations. To address extended demand for information a company’s data must be considered a core asset. Like in other sectors, companies will have to think about a data strategy, data governance and an integrated data architecture. In the webinar we’ll do an analysis of future data demand and highlight some potential industry use cases from various domains within a pharmaceutical enterprise. We’ll discuss requirements of high-value data and we’ll look into organizational and technological solutions to meet these requirements. |

Matthias Kress
Founder Biograsp GmbH
Matthias studied computer linguistics and started his professional career as technology consultant in the financial industry in 2000. He had various assignments within large-scale software projects in finance, logistics and manufacture. In 2015 Matthias entered the life science space working in automation software design. Since then, he assumed various CAPEX project roles representing regulated companies. Matthias is founder of BioGrasp GmbH, he's a member of ISPE since 2018. In Q1 2024 Matthias started to co-lead workstream 2 “Architecture” of Plug & Produce SIG within ISPE’s Pharma 4.0
James Al-Sunna
Founder Theos-CES GmbH
James is a seasoned consultant and solution architect with a focus on delivering digital and automation solutions in life science. In 2007 he started his career in the process industry focusing on pharma since 2008. In 2015 he joined Siemens. His expertise spans across execution systems, data architecture, and operations management, with a clear focus on quality, efficiency, and analytics capabilities. In 2024, James founded his own engineering and consulting firm, supporting pharmaceutical clients in building technology platforms for shopfloor and adjacent domains. James co-leads the Architecture workstream with Matthias.
