Synopsis
In the evolving landscape of Pharma 4.0™, digital transformation hinges on robust data flows and structured process mapping. This presentation, given by the author of the corresponding ISPE Pharma 4.0™ guide chapter, explores how industry professionals can transition from a process-centric to a data-centric model. Using the Reference Architecture Model Industry 4.0 (RAMI), the session will outline a structured four-step methodology for mapping existing processes, aligning data flows, applying critical thinking, and achieving optimization through iterative improvements. Attendees will gain insights into best practices for ensuring data integrity, reducing redundancies, and fostering a single source of truth to support digitalization. This approach paves the way for enhanced connectivity, transparency, agility, and productivity in the pharmaceutical manufacturing space.
